TradingView currently offers the indexes for free. Also, "by default, all plans use real-time US stock data from the CBOE BZX exchange (former BATS). It doesn't have any per-user fees imposed by the exchange. However, this data is slightly different from its official counterpart — primary exchanges. It offers approximate volume and fewer price updates.
If this difference is crucial for your analysis and you would like to get real-time data from the official exchanges (NASDAQ, NYSE or ARCA), you can subscribe to their real time data feed packages.

AES labels are limited to a specific amount. If you are on a 5 minute chart and see highlights but no labels for the prior day, that is why. They will print on a prior day if you are doing a bar replay.
You will also want to confirm that you have "Show Entry Labels" checked on your AES settings.
If your show entry labels option is checked, you may want to edit the scale of your chart. Right click on a blank space on your chart and choose "Settings". In appearance you can change your margins. Top Margin, set to 25%. Bottom Margin also set to 25%.
A countdown clock requires real time data feed. If you have real time data feed, right click on the price scale and check "Countdown To Bar Close."
TradingView Pro and Pro Plus subscriptions have expirations on their alerts. Premium subscriptions allow for open ended alerts.
Click on the 3 dots on the alert menu. Filter your alerts so that inactive is not checked. This will show you a list of current alerts including those that are inactive. Scroll through the list and click play on any alert that you want to reactivate. If you want to reactivate all alerts, use the 3 dots in the alert menu and choose "Restart all inactive."
Generally if something is not right on your chart, such as it freezing or count down timer being off, a simple refresh of your web browser will fix the issue.
